Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and some handy tips!

We are the type of girls that once our makeup is done it is done. The though of having to keep re-applying throughout the day would send us over the edge, plus our handbags are heavy enough without having the extra weight of a full makeup bag to carry around as well. So we want our makeup to last as long as possible, and the Urban Decay All Nighter Spray does just the job!

(old packaging)

You will fall in love with this spray as it helps to keep your makeup looking fresh for up to 16 hours, stopping it from cracking, fading, settling into any fine lines you may have or melting off the face. You can apply this spray after every stage of your makeup (i.e. foundation, powder, eye makeup) for ultimate staying power, or just as a final spritz at the end for more day to day makeup. One note we would make however is make sure and apply your mascara after spraying, as if you apply before, you run the risk of some payoff from your lashes onto the tops of your cheekbones!!

Urban Decay have an offering of 3 different formulations of the setting spray. Their original, the All Nighter Spray, is suitable for all skin types. Chill, is suitable for drier, to combination skin types, which has a cooling sensation, and helps to hydrate as well. De-slick is for those with oilier complexions as it helps to control the oil, and deflect surface shine. Urban Decay really have thought of everything and all three sprays come in large, and small bottles, which is perfect for on the go, or travelling.

There are a couple ways we like to use this spray, other than just spraying it on your face after you've completed your makeup look.
  1. Concealer:
Now to make that concealer last all day, before buffing it in with your brush, just give the brush a quick spritz with the spray and work it in to the concealer. Our concealer does not budge when we do this, and it just helps to keep you looking fresh and awake all day!
  2. Lining your eye with powder:With those dark eyeshadows that you would use as a liner, we like to take a cotton pad and give it a couple sprays with the setting spray. Then we take a small angled brush (such as the MAC 266) dab it on the cotton pad, then work it into the shaddow. We find this help to keep the shaddow in a nice precise line, with no fallout!
We hope you find these little tips useful, and we would say it you don't already own one of the Urban Decay Setting Spray's go and pick one up, as your make-up life will be forever changed!
