CC Cream: Our Pick

Continuing our series of posts on lighter bases for summer, this week we are going to talk about our pick for a CC Cream. Now we have tried quite a few CC Creams but we both keep coming back to the GOSH Cosmetics Illuminating CC as the rest just don't quite compare.

Being really pale the CC's we've tried before, usually run quite dark, or oxidise on the skin and turn very orangey. But this offering from GOSH is the perfect match for our skintone. It has a light coverage, which is perfect for those hot summer days, when you don't want to be caked with make-up!

It is an oil free formula, so perfect if you have oily or combination skin, and it is hydrating so there is no need to moisturise before applying this base. For those sunny days, this CC also provides an SPF of 10, which isn't too high, but its better than some bases that have no SPF in them.

As this is an illuminating CC, it contain light-reflecting particles, which brighten up the skin and hide those imperfections. The active ingredient Gatuline Radiance is an anti-ageing property, that improves the skins micro-circulation. It also helps to maintain an even skin tone, which is what were looking for in a colour corrector.

We absolutely love this CC, as it keeps us looking illuminated and fresh, and is a nice light base for those no make-up days. Or if we have no time in the morning this is the perfect quick fix to hide those imperfections. Go and pick this up at Superdrug, it's such an affordable CC cream at only £8.99!!
