The Body Shop: Drops of Youth?!

We are such fans of The Body Shop's skincare so today were going to have an in-depth review of their Nutriganics Drops of Youth. This is a youth-enhancing concentrate which claims to smooth out your skin.

Formulated with Babassu Oil, which is a clear light yellow vegetable oil extracted from the seeds from the wild babassu palm trees, which grow in the Amazon region of South America. It is a non-drying oil that has similar properties to coconut oil and is increasingly being used as its substitute, so we can see this oil being the next big thing in the beauty world.

This product however is not oily in texture. It is like a very thick serum, but it is not heavy on the skin. It is also enriched with Criste-Marine plant stem cells, which are the 'youth' part of this concentrate. The stem cells help to repair any damage to skin on a cellular level, as well as keeping the skin hydrated and restoring radiance.

As you can see it has a pipette applicator, so you gently massage two to three drops into your skin and let it sink in and work it's magic. Now your skin can feel a little bit tacky whilst your waiting for this to dry, but don't panic, the tackyness will go away. Once it has finished drying, you can then finish off your skincare routine. You can apply your normal serum ontop of this, however with this product being very serum-like, we usually just go straight ahead and apply our daily moisturisers.

We absolutely love this concentrate, and can genuinly say that our skin hasn't felt this soft in a long time! Now it does come with a little bit of a price tag to it with the 30ml bottle being £22, but the 50ml bottle is £28, so for 20ml more its only £6 extra! Plus, The Body Shop always run fantastic offers with their love your body care and online discount codes! Go and pick this litte beauty up... now! Your skin will be thanking us!
