The Body Shop Instablur

Primer is something that has been part of our routine for as long as we can remember, it's a step we never miss. We've tried a good few of them and silicone based primers are our favourite, such as Benefit's Porefessional and Seventeen's Photo Finish (which much to our dismay has been discontinued!). So when we saw this new release we had to give it a try!

Now the beauty world is very much a place where you see the new releases that are coming out and you want them, not today, not tomorrow but yesterday! We have known about this primer for some time now and finally got our paws on it last week and have been able to put it to the test. *Spoiler alert* this is not a product to be missed!!

This primer claims to be an all-in-one, 5 action perfector; Controlling shine for twelve hours, reducing the appearance of pores, hiding blemishes, extending your makeup and evening out complexion. Having issues with pores and shine, especially on our t-zone we found when wearing this primer, our pores were non-existent and shine was heavily reduced through-out the whole day. As we said in out previous post about the setting spray, once our makeup is on, we like it to stay that way, and this primer certainly helped with the longevity!

It is quite a thick primer, a lot thicker than Benefit's Porefessional, however it doesn't feel heavy on the skin.it feel light and gives you the blurring effect you desire without your skin feeling clogged. It is formulated with marula oil, which is known for it's moisturising properties, so this primer isn't going to dry out your skin.

We would definitely recommend you picking this up, as you know we are avid lovers of The Body Shop and this item is on point! Buy, buy buy!!
