Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara

Drugstore mascaras can be very hit or miss. Every once in a while one comes along that completely rivals high-end mascaras, with better results and at a fraction of the price. This mascara from Bourjois completely blows all the others out of the water. You would honestly be hard pushed to find a better drugstore mascara out there that delivers on volume, length and the look of false lashes.

Now it is very easy to apply, but it's not quite one second. The length and curl this mascara creates, honestly makes you look like you have false lashes on without all that hassle! The tube with orange accents is the original formula and it has amazing staying power. It stays all day with no smudging or flaking.

Even the waterproof formula delivers on results! Usually with mascaras the waterproof formulation can be somewhat disappointing compared to the original formulation. It claims to hold for 24 hours, and it definitely stays in place. The waterproof formulation is slightly drier than the original but it still works amazingly.

The patented brush had spherical bristles placed in between the regular bristles which wrap around your lashes and coat them evenly leaving no clumps or spidery looking lashes. Now plastic brushes can be off putting for some people, but we are now plastic wand converts.
