It's a 10 is a brand that has a lot of hype around it in the beauty world, especially their leave in conditioner. So when we were scouring the beauty section at TKMaxx and saw this shampoo and conditioner, we thought we'd pick it up and give it a try.
Now this is the formula that contains added keratin which is a key structural component of your hair. So having this in the products you use will help to heal any dryness or damage that you may have. After we both tested it out, we saw a noticeable difference even after the first use. It makes your hair feel so silky and incredibly soft. And its smells great too which is always a bonus! Now we both have different hair types so after a couple uses we saw different results. One of us has thick coarse hair and the other fine.
With fine hair, we feel that as a regular use shampoo and conditioner, it is too heavy and weighs the hair down, resulting in the feeling of product build up (which is not what you would expect from a product that is free from sulphates, sodium chloride and parabens). However with thick, coarse hair its a saving grace. If you find that you have dehydrated frizzy hair, this will help to tame the hair and help in the healing of any damage.
There is only one down side and that is the size of the products. As ever girl knows conditioner is used up long before your shampoo, however the shampoo comes in at 300ml and the conditioner is half the size, which is pretty annoying.
We would recommend picking this up if you have thick coarse hair, and if you have fine hair we would recommend their original range without the keratin. Unfortunatly this brand is quite difficult to get your hands on in the UK so just keep an eye out at your local TKMaxx and hopefully they'll have some in stock!!
