Too Faced Melted Lipsticks

Too Faced is a brand that has quite often fallen under our radar... Until now! We have used a couple of samples of theirs in the past with a favourite being their Lip Insurance but have never tried any of their other lip offerings. So when we saw these Melted Lipsticks we were very intrigued.

Now when these lipsticks were first released, there was 6 shades. Nude, Peony, Coral, Fuchsia, Violey and Ruby. We picked up Peony and Ruby from the first set. For us the nude is too brown in shade for our skin tone and the other 3 were just a bit too bright for our liking. Then they released a second set of 4 colours. Marshmallow, Fig, Candy and Berry. We picked them all up bar Marshmallow, which was just a bit too pale in our opinion.

They have an angled sponge applicator which makes them super easy to swipe on and go.
Now the thing we love is that they dry down to a matte finish, which we find makes those statement lips easier to wear. The last thing you want is that glossy finish lip product smearing without you knowing! Such a nightmare. These lipsticks have good staying power as well, once they're on, they're not straying!
