Cleansing balms have been the 'it' skincare product for a while now. With Emma Hardie starting the trend it now seems that most brands are providing their take on this. After a rather hefty haul at The Body Shop a month or so ago we have both become infatuated with their skincare offerings. This cleansing butter was one of the first products we used and quickly fell in love.
This butter is super easy to use, even on those days when you really cannot be bothered to take your make up off (we seem to have those more often than not!) you just scoop this out with your fingers and rub into your skin then wash off with a face cloth. (The directions do say a muslin cloth but I find a face cloth just as effective). One suggestion we would make if you are using it to take off your makeup and not just cleansing the face we would recommend going over your face once with a cleansing water afterwards to get rid of any makeup that may have been left behind. We were skeptical about how well this would remove eye make up but our concerns were quickly dissolved as it removes eye make up like a dream!
We also feel that this product might finish quite quickly but when it is only going to set you back £12 this is not a major issue for us. We would highly reccommend this cleansing balm and even though it costs £12 (which we think is amazing value anyway) the Body Shop very rarely dont have a sale on or a discount code available so it will always be worth it!
Love
