Chantecaille are a brand that make me quickly draw breath through gritted teeth. Everything looks so beautiful but all the items seem to come with a very hefty price tag. This highlighter however made me take the plunge.
This product is not just very aesthetically pleasing it is also (dare I let these words slip out) one of the best highlighters ever. I can't speak for everyone but my main issue with the majority of highlighters out there are that they are just too glittery. Don't get me wrong I love a bit of glitter but I just don't love it for highlighting my face. The powder is so finely milled it adds the perfect amount of shimmer with not being in your face at the same time. Another big tick this product gets from me is that the detail is not sprayed on (hooray!) so you are not being short changed.
The only issue I have with this product is the packaging. For the price, I would have expected the casing to have a bit more weight to it. I also have a bit of a hatred towards mirrored packaging (so many fingerprints) but that's an issue for another day!
All in all this is a seriously impressive product and I do think it is worth the £64 price tag. It looks like it will last for a very long time. Available from space nk online and a couple of bigger department stores.
